Red Mountain Academy offers a 10-month (September – June) and a 5-month (December – April) program that provides Ski Training, the opportunity to compete, fitness & sports training, blended learning through Seven Summits Centre for Learning, and homestay. The Team GIVE’R Freeride Club provides the opportunity to train at Red Mountain Resort up to five days per week for the duration of the season (December – April) and focuses on preparing for IFSA Freeride competitions at venues across Western Canada.
The Team GIVE’R Freeride Club is an advanced level, competitive freeski team training out of Red Mountain, BC. The program is designed to expose athletes to the best resources and personnel; accelerating the training they need to pursue the highest levels of performance. During dryland training, we work with elite level athletes and sports science professionals to nourish the body & mind for the upcoming ski season. Our diverse on-snow coaching staff will focus on all aspects of freeskiing including, proper technique, big mountain approach and line choice, steep skiing, powder skiing, air awareness & tricks, terrain park skills and video analysis. Exploring all of Red Mountain’s legendary 3,800 acres of terrain, we provide the best training grounds to take your skiing to the next level.

Dr. Eva Gifford from Infinity Physio will be joining our athletes to offer movement pattern screening which allows us to anticipate possible injuries and design a personalized exercise prescription that will help the athletes prevent injuries and increase performance.
After the athletes receive their personalized fitness plan Eva will continue to keep tabs on their progress, answer questions, and adapt the program to the demands of the season wherever necessary.
Dr. Sean Larsen will be joining us to support the athletes mental well-being throughout the season and guide them through the highs and lows of competitive sport.
Sean will help athletes reach their optimal mental performance in sport by providing one on one mental coaching and tools and resources for both athletes and parents.
