Adventure In Learning

Our area provides a wide range of outdoor activities that create meaningful and hands-on engaging learning experiences. The ESL and Recreation Program seeks to promote a healthy active lifestyle and encourages students to find play and enjoyment in everyday life. Engaging in outdoor activities enhances education by providing practical experiences that complement classroom learning and promote holistic development.

Twice a week within the school day our High School students will be exposed to new activities and exploration of the mountainous region of Rossland and the amazing facilities it provides to the community.

Homestay offers students the opportunity to be fully immersed in the experience of Rossland. Our host families support each student to navigate their new environment and create connections with the family, language skills, and memories that last forever.

When picking a host family, we take into account shared interests and hobbies, along with the ages of any other kids, any allergies to pets, and food preferences. The students comfort and happiness comes first!
